This Chitosan Facial Dressing is a sterile, medical-grade wound care product designed for superficial wound protection and post-procedure skin repair. Made with natural chitosan, it creates a moist, protective environment to support healing, soothe sensitive skin, and reduce inflammation. Suitable for both clinical and daily skin care applications.
The cationic nature of chitosan attracts and traps harmful bacteria, disrupting their cell membranes and inhibiting fungal and bacterial growth. It forms an antibacterial barrier after minimally invasive procedures, reducing infection risk, accelerating healing, and minimizing scar formation.
Captures heavy metal ions (Hg²⁺, Ni²⁺, Pb²⁺) left by cosmetics, helping to purify the skin. It also scavenges free radicals, protecting against oxidative stress and delaying skin aging.
Stimulates collagen synthesis and growth factors (e.g., IL-1) to promote tissue repair, improve skin elasticity, tighten pores, and smooth fine lines. It fills micro-cracks in the skin and works with ceramides to restore the skin barrier.
Inhibits the activity of tyrosinase to reduce melanin production, helping to fade pigmentation, acne marks, and spots caused by microbial activity and metabolic imbalances.
Modified chitosan offers superior moisture retention. Combined with 100% superfine hydrophilic fibers, it forms a breathable, water-locking layer that keeps the skin hydrated and prevents dryness.
·For acute wounds, burns, or post-surgery use: Once daily for 1 week, then 2-3 times weekly (2 weeks per course).
·For post-aesthetic procedures: Same as above.
